Grupa Energa is one of Poland’s four largest energy companies and one of the three largest electricity suppliers in Poland. The Group's activities include the generation, sale, and distribution of electricity.
The renewable energy capacity of the Gdańsk-based group exceeds 1 GW. Over the course of a year, these sources can produce enough electricity to power up to one million households.
Energa focuses on the development of renewable energy sources. It is the leader among the four largest Polish energy groups in terms of the share of renewable sources in the total installed capacity of its generation assets (1.9 GW), which amounts to 57%.
The Energa Group is actively involved in the transformation of Poland’s energy sector by developing the potential of renewable sources and modernizing its distribution network. The Group is also investing in combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) assets, which will support energy supply security.
The parent company of the Group is Energa SA based in Gdańsk.
